What does an ECU remap do?
An ECU remap changes selected engine-control parameters within the vehicle's software calibration. Depending on the vehicle and its condition, this can improve throttle response, drivability and performance, while an economy-focused calibration can be tailored towards fuel efficiency.
Every vehicle is different, so expected gains depend on the engine, ECU, fuel, condition and any existing modifications. We use the vehicle details and software requirements to determine the appropriate calibration rather than promising the same result for every car.
Stage 1 ECU Remapping
Stage 1 is generally designed for a standard or lightly modified vehicle and is the starting point for many customers. Prices start from £150, with the exact price depending on the vehicle and required work.
Stage 2 ECU Remapping
Stage 2 is intended for vehicles with supporting hardware modifications where appropriate. We can discuss the vehicle's modifications and requirements before booking.
Why choose a mobile remap?
- No need to drive to a tuning workshop.
- Appointments can be carried out at your home or workplace where suitable.
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding are also available.
- Vehicle-specific information can be checked before the appointment.
